British External Affairs Secretary David Milband had insisted President Mahinda Rajapakse to implement a new plan immediately to settle the racial issue in Sri Lanka.

The Sri Lankan situation is observed after the Tamil Eelam Liberation tigers got defeated from last year, in the month of May and in this situation, it is the highest opportunity to settle the racial crisis in Sri Lanka individually by the government was stated by Milband. He said he had submitted a report in regard to this to the External Affairs Ministry. Meanwhile David Miliband will attend the World Tamils conference which is scheduled to be held in the forthcoming days in London, and his attempts are to bring more strength towards this issue, was mentioned by British Foreign Affairs Ministry.
