450 million rupees is exhausted by India for land mines excavation in Sri Lanka

Indian government has exhausted 450 million rupees to the excavation of land mines in Sri Lanka. Such information was stated by the Indian High Commissioner Office informative centre.

Seven groups from India are involved in the excavation of land mines. They are in the process of removing land mines in the districts of Vavuniya and Mannar, approximately in an area of 63 hundred, 12 thousand and 876 square meter land. Recently Indian High Commissioner Asok K.Kantha paid a visit to these areas and personally observed the situation was further informed by the Indian High Commission.
