Government had informed the vehicles damaged during the war between the Government and the Tamil Eealm Liberation tigers will be repaired. Reports states massive amount of vehicles had been damaged at the confrontations held at Puthumathalan area in the Mullaitheevu district.

The damaged vehicles would be repaired on the expenses of the government. The action has been taken according to the instruction from President Mahinda Rajapakse. Northern Governor Major General G.A.Chanerasiri had informed the repairing activities would commence from the forthcoming 25th.
