75 Sri Lankan refugees are still on hunger protest in Malaysia

75 Sri Lankan refugees who are detained in Malaysia are continuing their hunger protest for the second conservative . The Malaysian officials had rescued the people from the boat which underwent a machine fault while it was travelling towards Australia or to New Zealand on last April 19th.
They had been identified as Sri Lankans, hence they were arrested by the Malaysian officials and detained. The 75 refugees had demanded that they should be sent to a third world country, hence had involved themselves on hunger protest. Among them, 61 males, 7 females and 7 children were included is according to sources.
