75 Sri Lankan refugees are still on hunger protest in Malaysia
75 Sri Lankan refugees who are detained in Malaysia are continuing their hunger protest for the second conservative . The Malaysian officials had rescued the people from the boat which underwent a machine fault while it was travelling towards Australia or to New Zealand on last April 19th. |
| They had been identified as Sri Lankans, hence they were arrested by the Malaysian officials and detained. The 75 refugees had demanded that they should be sent to a third world country, hence had involved themselves on hunger protest. Among them, 61 males, 7 females and 7 children were included is according to sources. |
