Indian High Commission offices at Jaffna and Hambantota will be opened. – India

India had informed that Indian High Commissions will be opened in the towns of Jaffna and Hambantota. In the forthcoming two months, inaugurations are organized for the new office which has been decided by the Indian Government was according to high commission circle information.

The Indian government will officially inform Sri Lanka in regard to these activities in the forthcoming days. During the Sri Lankan Prime Minister’s Indian visit, Prime Minister Man Mohan Singh will inform this matter to President Mahinda Rajapakse. Presently Indian High Commissions are situated at Colombo and Kandy towns.
